Cuisine

The AlaCena restaurant is perfect for business dinners and dining with friends and expert in satisfying even the most refined tastes.

Typical Mediterranean delights merge perfectly with Spanish culture to inspire dishes with strong aromas and traditional flavours, accompanied by a wide choice of Italian wines from a select choice of the best bodegas in the province.

The AlaCena restaurant is named after the huge pantries once located in the kitchens of the houses of the nobles to preserve hams, cheeses and other foods. Today the pantry stands at the entrance to the restaurant and helps create an elegant and cosy ambience with typically warm Spanish colours.

In a unique setting with a glass pyramid roof reminiscent of a winter garden, the Aurora room is designed to serve a superior quality buffet breakfast with a great choice of American style show cooking and an open kitchen that allows guests to view how the dishes are prepared.

The Aurora Suite room, a part of Aurora, is an ideal location for private events.

For a relaxing moment at the end of a long day of work, guests can also try cocktails from the weekly selection prepared by our expert bartender at the QLounge or Quantum Lounge.

From the succulent dishes of the AlaCena Restaurant to the delicious snacks at the gourmet coffee break and the original flavours of our buffet, our Chef Mario Crespi, a fixture at the hotel since its opening in 2001, always offers an ideal solution for any meeting or event.

These tasty and delicious selections are the perfect icing on the cake for any occasion.

It can be a tasty accompaniment to a meeting, the perfect conclusion for a convention or a private event, our catering service brings all of the passion that distinguishes Meliá hotels to meet any needs.
